By volunteering at MS Queensland, you're not only helping support the people living with MS but you'll also help us promote awareness of MS and contribute to the search for a cure.
We are constantly searching for people able to subscribe to our values and work towards our vision of 'a world free of MS and its devastating impact.' Without the support of our volunteer community, many of the event and services coordinated through MS Queensland would simply not be possible.
A large number of people are generous enough to donate a significant amount of time and energy to MS Queensland each year, but as we grow larger and expand our service provision the need for more volunteers grows with us. Through volunteering not only will you contribute to the expansion of available services and make a difference to the lives of people affected by MS, but you’ll also be enriching your own life.
We view volunteering as a relationship of exchange and are committed to ensuring the types of positions offered to volunteers are equally engaging and beneficial to those involved as they are to the organisation. In return, we manage our volunteers with the same care and respect as we do our own staff, offering training and development opportunities, valuable experiences and a chance to make a significant contribution in the fight against MS.
We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds and recognise the valuable skills and abilities they bring with them. Enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference are the only qualifications you need.

CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING
MS Queensland values the support of our Corporate contributors and their employees. Socially responsible organisations that wish to provide avenues for their staff to contribute may benefit from higher employee engagement and morale as well as alternative development opportunities. VOCATIONAL PLACEMENTS AND INTERNSHIPS
In addition to offering community volunteering, we are also partnered a number of tertiary educational institutions to provide vocational placements and training to students engaged in fields that have application to community health. Moreover MS Queensland periodically offers internships positions to interested graduates who are looking to gain supervision and applied experience in their chosen fields.
