If you or someone close to you has recently been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, it has probably raised lots of questions and plenty of concerns.
In the same way that MS affects everyone differently, news of a diagnosis can bring on a wide range of emotions. You may be feeling overwhelmed at the news, or fearful for what it could mean. You may even be relieved at finally making sense of your symptoms, or angry that this could happen to you.
MS Queensland was formed to support Queenslanders living with MS, and we have 50 years of experience doing so.
As a first step we recommend calling our toll-free MS Info Line to talk to someone about the ways in which we can help you, and steps you can take yourself on 1800 177 591.

The internet is a fantastic resource for info on MS, but be careful what you read. There is a lot of information that can be unhelpful, or even completely false - remember that anyone can post their point of view on the web. A good place to start is by looking through our recommended websites.
